These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between A J Cleaning Solution (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and the customer (“you”, “your”) for the provision of cleaning services in London. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


Service Agreement

  • We provide professional cleaning services as agreed at the time of booking.
  • All services will be carried out by trained and insured cleaners.
  • We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking if the property or conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

Bookings

  • Bookings can be made via phone, email, or our website.
  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • It is your responsibility to provide accurate details regarding access, service requirements, and any special instructions.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a charge of up to 50% of the service fee.
  • If our cleaners are unable to gain access to your property at the agreed time, this may be treated as a late cancellation.

Payments

  • Payment is due on the day of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept payments by bank transfer, debit/credit card, or cash.
  • Invoices must be settled within 7 days of issue for contract or commercial clients.
  • Late payments may incur interest charges in line with the UK Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act.

Liability

Insurance and Coverage

  • We carry public liability insurance covering accidental damage or injury caused by our staff during the provision of services.

Limitations

  • We are not liable for:
    • Pre-existing damage or wear and tear.
    • Items of sentimental or high value not disclosed before service.
    • Indirect losses or loss of income resulting from our services.

Claims

  • Any claims for damage must be reported in writing within 24 hours of the service.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and sufficient access to the property at the agreed time.
  • Ensure electricity, running water, and adequate lighting are available.
  • Remove personal or valuable items from areas to be cleaned.
  • Notify us of any fragile, delicate, or high-value items that require special care.

Health and Safety

  • Our cleaners may refuse to clean areas deemed hazardous or unsafe.
  • We will not handle toxic substances, waste removal, or heavy lifting beyond reasonable limits.

Complaints

  • If you are dissatisfied with our service, please notify us within 24 hours so we can investigate and take corrective action.
  • Complaints made after this period may not be eligible for a refund or re-clean.

Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
